Where the Wild Things Are Light Box

Where The Wild Things Are Paper Cut Light Box

I made this light box as a nursery gift for a friend. It’s inspired by one of my favorite childhood books, Where the Wild Things Are.

I designed each layer in Illustrator and cut them with my Silhouette Cameo. It’s cut from layers of 140 lb watercolor paper spaced with strips of foam core board. The layers are assembled together in a 10×10 shadow box. LED strip lights are used to illuminate it.
